Erica Wells is a textile artist, repurposing discarded objects, textiles into three dimensional objects, incorporating traditional techniques such as sewing, weaving, knit, crochet and embroidery. 
She is currently investigating the environmental and cultural impacts of colonisation on the Australian landscape.
A recipient of the 2025 Australian Wool Education Trust scholarship Wells is currently creating a collection focusing on the effects climate change on our environment and the loss of biodiversity in nature.
